Bright Built Hot Rods was formed in St. John, Kansas in a 28’X32′ shop located behind the Bright’s home. Within eight months they had completed their first turn key rod, a 1931 Ford 2 door Phaeton. The commercial success of that vehicle turned a hobby into a career. Together they carefully produced each vehicle to impeccable high standards. It became obvious that in order to continue the business they would have to go full time
They have grown to a fully developed staff with a fulltime painter, fabrication engineer, mechanic, and technology aide. Bright Built Hot Rods focuses primarily on being a leader in the automotive restoration and customization industry. The Bright Built Hot Rods crew can restore your vehicle or locate a specific vehicle to restore for you. The shop also fabricates vintage automotive replicas and parts no longer in circulation or production. To date, Bright Built Hot Rods has not found an item or part that they have not been able to restore or customize for a vehicle or motorcycle. Along with these great aspects, the company also retails both original and aftermarket parts for other fabrication shops across the country.
